Flight Navigation Procedure Trainer II (FNPT II)

GKSB’s Flight Navigation Procedure Trainer II (FNPT II) is classified as Level II by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and is based on the EC120B aircraft model. Based on the Government Operate Company Own & Maintain (GOCOM) concept, the RMAF will train student pilots and instructors through INSPEN 2 and ILIT (Rotary Wing). This is the country's first FNPT II, and it is also the outcome of a collaboration between GKSB and Thales Training & Simulation SAS of France. Both parties' engineers were involved in the project's development.

...Completed in December 2016 and operated on January 1st, 2017. After completing each sortie during FNPT II training, they will apply what they have gained to be used on an actual EC120B aircraft.
